To continue our impressive growth we are seeking an Associate Professor for our Department of Psychology at the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences at our Manhattan Campus.

Position Overview:

Dyson College of Arts and Sciences at Pace University is seeking applicants applications for an anticipated faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor level (tenure-track) in the Department of Psychology to begin September 2022. The position is located at the University’s New York City campus in lower Manhattan. The Department offers 3 doctoral programs (PhD in Clinical Psychology (Health Care Emphasis), PhD in School Psychology, PsyD in School-Clinical Child Psychology), 3 masters programs (MSEd in School Psychology, MA in Psychology, en-route MS in Clinical Psychology (Health Care Emphasis)), two undergraduate programs (BA in Psychology and BA in Applied Psychology and Human Relations), and a combined BA/MA psychology program.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • In addition to teaching and research, the candidate will also be responsible for directing the combined MS/PhD in Clinical Psychology (Health Care Emphasis).

 

 

Preferred and Required Qualifications

Position Qualifications:

  • Candidates should have an earned doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited doctoral program. The specific area of specialization is open, but candidates with a research interest in Health Psychology are especially encouraged to apply.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a distinguished scholarly record, strong teaching skills, a history of external funding, administrative experience, strong methodological skills, as well as demonstrated leadership roles in psychology.
