To continue our impressive growth we are seeking a Clinical Assistant Professor for our Department of Psychology at the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences at our Manhattan Campus.

Position Overview:

Dyson College of Arts and Sciences at Pace University invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) in the Department of Psychology to begin September, 2022.  The position is located at the University’s New York City campus in lower Manhattan. The Psychology Department offers 3 doctoral programs (PhD in Clinical Psychology (Health Care Emphasis), PhD in School Psychology, PsyD in School-Clinical Child Psychology), 3 masters programs (MSEd in School Psychology, MA in Psychology, en-route MS in Clinical Psychology (Health Care Emphasis)), two undergraduate programs (BA in Psychology and BA in Applied Psychology and Human Relations), and a combined BA/MA Psychology program.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Teaches assigned courses in discipline.
  • Plans, organizes and delivers lessons.
  • Provides feedback to students to promote academic success.


Preferred and Required Qualifications

Position Qualifications:

  • Candidates should have an earned doctoral degree in Psychology. The specific area of specialization is open, but candidates must have demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
  • Prior teaching experience at the higher education level preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
