The selected candidate will be expected to lead an interdisciplinary effort with faculty and students/learners across the various schools, centers and institutes at Dartmouth, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health, and other partner health systems to accelerate the transformation of U.S. health care and healthcare systems.

Dartmouth seeks a candidate with an outstanding scholarly record of studying and solving the most difficult challenges facing health care. Candidates must have an MD, PhD, or equivalent, strong academic credentials and extramural support, as well as a research portfolio that demonstrates national leadership in their field.

Candidates should meet the expectations for appointment at the rank of full professor with tenure in The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice (TDI) at the Geisel School of Medicine.

As an institute that is firmly anchored in interdisciplinary research, we seek candidates who have experience in working with and mobilizing colleagues across disciplines. The selected candidate will have a primary academic appointment at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice, with the potential for secondary appointments in other Geisel Departments, adjunct appointments in Arts & Sciences and/or other leading professional schools (Thayer School of Engineering and Tuck School of Business), and affiliations with other Dartmouth Institutes or Centers.
