The School of Chemical, Biological and Materials Engineering (CBME) in the Gallogly College of Engineering (GCoE) at the University of Oklahoma (OU) are looking to fill a faculty position in the areas of biopharmaceutical production or discovery, with preference given to the former. We expect to fill the position with an Assistant Professor, but exceptional candidates at other levels will be considered. The position aligns with the GCoE’s strategic priorities of increasing research productivity in the strategic growth area of Bioengineering and the University’s strategic growth area of the Future of Health.
The successful candidate is expected to develop and maintain a sponsored research program related to manufacture of biopharmaceuticals and/or discovery and development of biopharmaceuticals. Potential research areas include:

An earned Ph.D. is required with at least one degree in chemical engineering or another closely related discipline.
