Applications are invited for the post of Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Health Economics in the Economics Department.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the department as Postdoctoral Research Fellow with a focus on health economics. The successful candidate will work closely with the research team led by Prof. Arnaud Chevalier as Director for the Centre for the Economics of the Household (EcHo) and will (i) engage as an equal team member in terms of helping to deliver existing projects, and (ii) will work with the EcHo team to scope one or more collaborative projects that can form the basis for a future funding project.

The successful candidate will hold a PhD in Economics (or be near completion) with a focus on applied econometric research in an area related to health, e.g. population, labour markets, development, family. They will further have excellent knowledge of R and/or STATA and possibly Matlab (or equivalent), demonstrated ability to keep accurate records, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.

The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.   Meetings with the team will take place at Royal Holloway or on MS Teams, whilst work on data analysis can be done from a location of choice subject to appropriate data security.
