Grade 4: £24,174 - £28,756 per annum

Full-Time: 35 hours per week, Fixed term for 6 months

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Campus Services Team for a Mechanical Technician with a successful background maintaining, developing, and upgrading a complex and sophisticated range of installed plant, equipment and services, across a range of buildings.

In addition, you will be involved in the administration, continued development and analysis of the University's Building Management Systems, whilst making a significant contribution to the activity of a dynamic and responsive Estates team.  You will offer technical advice and assistance to a range of technical and non-technical colleagues, and you will be responsible for the administration of relevant technical/legislative documentation to ensure systems and asset compliance is maintained.

As our Mechanical Technician, you will have an HNC in Mechanical Engineering/City and Guilds, together with a high level of knowledge and experience gained through extensive work in the operation and maintenance sector.
