The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will be responsible for communication functions related to the Foundation work with the College and the community. Manages communications while developing tactics and innovative communication associated with Foundation donor relations and development activities including fundraising campaigns, membership groups, development events, scholarships, and digital communications. The Coordinator will prepare professional quality detailed and summary profiles and materials to utilize with donor prospects for major gifts and naming opportunities. Ensures all logistics associated with these gifts and naming opportunities for campaigns and membership groups are handled professionally. Assists in writing proposals and grants in support of the development team. The Coordinator ensures the data points are detailed and ROI is communicated to donors, partners and staff members engaged in any of the Foundation campaigns (including but not limited to capital or comprehensive campaigns, employee all-in campaigns, membership/affinity campaigns, scholarship fundraisers and special events). Utilizes reports generated from the constituent relationship management system (Raiser's Edge) to create effective appeals and targeted communication. Coordinates with vendors to create Proofs on appropriate naming and recognition items for leadership and donor review, and coordinates installation of selected plaques and recognition items related to campaign. This position reports to the Donor Relationship Manager, Institutional Development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor's degree with a focus in any of the marketing or communications fields of study. Reliable transportation to manage logistics and coordination of campaign events. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.

A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.
ANNUAL SALARY: $33,730.00
