The Office of Educational Partnerships at the University of Southern Maine is the arm of Academic Affairs tasked with creating and renewing all articulations and educational agreements with other academic organizations, the construction and maintenance of accelerated graduate pathways, and the continued administration of our Early College program.  The Early College Program at the University of Southern Maine encompasses three distinct, future-focused academic programs that allow high school students to experience college-level learning and coursework and earn college credits. 

The Associate Director of Educational Partnerships and Early College will provide oversight of the Early College Program, as well as strategic management of articulation work with the Maine Community College System (MCCS), and other community college partners in New England.  As the face of USM Early College, this position is expected to conduct outreach to new markets, propose strategic partnerships, create curricular packages, and successfully craft the overall goals and plans of the USM Early College program.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of three years of experience in a complex organization.
  • Demonstrable project management experience
  • Facility with standard online tools, applications, and software programs
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
Other Information:

The salary for the Associate Director is $48,000 - $52,000.
This position is contingent upon continuation of external funding.
