The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Director, CCH-UIH Chicago Kids Care Alliance. This position provides high level business development support to the Department of Pediatrics Cook County Health (CCH) and UI Health (UIH) General Affiliation Agreement operating as "Chicago Kids Care Alliance". This position assists with developing new business opportunities to guide strategic growth for the CCH-UIH pediatric affiliation. This position works closely with department and UI Health leadership to ensure success through proposal development, contracting, and project commencement.


  • Oversee and manage physician services exchanged by both institutions in compliance with all related regulations.
  • Lead the development, with Head, Department of Pediatrics, of subsequent phases of the programs anticipated for the CCH-UIH "Chicago Kids Care Alliance" affiliation.
  • Collaborate with the UIC Managed Care Office to develop new care system contracts.
  • Collaborate with UIH and CCH leadership to develop a strategic population health model.
  • Develop grant and philanthropic opportunities.
  • Work with UI Health leadership on facilities and strategic planning for clinical and educational missions of the department of Pediatrics.
  • Perform other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.


Preferred and Required Qualifications


  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in related field required. Master's degree in a related field (e.g., MPH, MBA, and MHA) preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of professional level related experience.
  • Previous management-level experience in directing complex clinical and/or project is desirable.
