Job Title Coordinator of Data, Instruction and Program Compliance Department Curriculum & Compliance FLSA Status Exempt Job Type Staff Position Grade 9 Employee Type Full Time Hiring Range Commensurate with experience Grant Funded No Work Year 12 Months Work Year-Other Information Typical Work Schedule 40 Hours Flexible schedule to meet department needs  Bargaining Unit Eligibility Yes-Staff Council Work Week 40 Hours Work Week-Other Information Special Instructions to Applicants Position Introduction n/a Position Summary Coordinate, develop, implement and monitor all phases of programs related to program compliance for the Adult Education Department.  Coordinate and enter student information in the appropriate databases.  Prepare and analyze data reports to ensure compliance with grant requirements.   Reports to Director of Adult Education Essential Functions and Responsibilities -         Assist with Adult Education course schedule planning, implementation, and logistics, including off-site locations-         Support adjunct faculty by providing daily direction and ensuring accurate and timely records are submitted-         Assist the Director with preparation of accurate and timely reports and grant applications-         Assure Adult Volunteer Literacy (AVL) database information is timely and accurate-         Ensure accurate student information, particularly in DAISI system to coordinate testing schedule necessary and for Adult Education students taking credit classes-         Provide daily direction to Adult Education enrollment processors and front desk staff-         Enter, access, and ensure accuracy of Adult Education information in Colleague, including GED completion-         Monitor compliance of various federal and state regulations as part of grant requirements-         Work collaboratively with others (e.g. colleagues, stakeholders, vendors) to accomplish functions and responsibilities-         Assume additional duties as assigned by immediate supervisor-         Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with administration, faculty, staff and community organizations-         Work on special projects consistent with division goals as assigned by the Director-         Assume additional duties as assigned by immediate supervisor Required Education Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution Other Required Qualifications -         Two years of direct experience with Adult Education programs two years of data analysis experience Desired Qualifications -         Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution - TESOL, Linguistics, or related area-         Experience in programs and instructions of ESL and Adult Education students-         Knowledge of DAISI and Colleague-         Bilingual communication skills Skills and Specifications -         Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite-         Ability to learn technological applications-         Ability to gain and maintain a basic understanding of Adult Education's and Literacy Program's budget process, classes, courses, instructors, meeting times, and locations in order to efficiently perform essential job functions-         Ability to effectively communicate with staff, students, and the public in both personal and phone situations-         Ability to work under pressure with composure and relate well with others-         Ability to work with confidential data and maintain a professional attitude with students, staff, and the public in general-         Aptitude for detail work is essential-         Ability to pursue additional training and skill upgrading which may occur twice a year, and involve a full day, an overnight stay, and/or out-of-town travel-         Neat, thorough, and accurate in work habits and possess good organizational skills-         Ability to enter data accurately for extensive periods of time-         Commitment and respect for diversity and MCC's Behaviors of Excellence-         Commitment to the College mission, vision, values, and goals-         Ability to work a flexible schedule Location Main Campus
