Reporting to the Registrar, the Assistant Registrar for Academic Operations will perform professional duties, with limited supervision, to assist in accomplishing the mission of the Registrar’s Office. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, registration, waitlists, roster verification, scheduling of classes, classroom assignment, final exam scheduling, and study abroad.

Preferred and Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Two or more years of experience in a Registrar’s Office
  • Knowledge of student information systems required; experience with an Ellucian system is preferred
  • Familiar with AACRAO policies and guidelines
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse student, faculty, and staff constituencies
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic work environment
