Position:
Job Description SummaryUnder the direct supervision of the Ohlone College District Director of Community & Corporate Education, the Corporate Education Account Specialist assists with the coordination of a performance improvement and professional development program that markets, sells and delivers training and consultation services for public and private sector organizations in the Ohlone College Community College District service area. The program is charged with generating revenue in excess of operating expenses.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Duties1. Implement a business plan for corporate education programs 2. Coordinate and develop corporate education training programs 3. Communicate and collaborate with businesses, economic development, career centers, and non-profits to design and implement corporate education programs to provide contract training opportunities;4. Draft and submit contractual documents and monitor invoices;5. Review environmental scans, workforce data and projections, to develop courses to meet the needs of the business community;6. Plan, organize and implement long and short-term programs and activities designed to develop assigned programs and services;7. Prepare a variety of narrative and statistical reports, records and files related to assigned activities.

KNOWLEDGE OF:1. Planning, organization and direction of corporate education programs;2. Methods and techniques of conducting statistical and financial analyses to assess program effectiveness;3. Marketing, advertising, and business development techniques and strategies to generate enrollments and retain corporate clients;4. Skills training and professional development for adults;
SKILLS TO: 1. Demonstrate interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy;2. Operate a computer and assigned software;3. Develop, plan and implement enrichment and professional training programs;4. Identify opportunities with business providers and to create industry driven in-demand training programs;5. Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action. ABILITY TO: 1. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing;2. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others;3. Meet schedules and timelines;4. Work independently with little direction.5. Travel occasionally to companies within the Ohlone College District.

A multi-campus single community college district, Ohlone College is located in the southern portion of the San Francisco Bay in California; serving 12,000 students per year. The District has a main campus in the City of Fremont and a newly constructed campus in the City of Newark.
