Governors State University seeks nominations and applications for a full-time, non-tenure track position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor in the area of Information Technology in the Division of Science, Mathematics and Technology; College of Arts and Sciences. The position is available for the 2021-2022 Academic year and successful candidates may be extended for the 2022-2023 academic year. The preferred candidate should demonstrate strong potential to teach primarily graduate Information Technology courses, including Fundamentals of Security Management (IT 7020), Distributed Systems and Network Security (IT 7120), Cyber Security Fundamentals (IT 7030), Infrastructure Management and Design (IT 7035), and Cryptography Network Security (CPSC 4582). We seek candidates with outstanding teaching skills, and experience teaching and advising non-traditional or diverse student populations.
