Under the direction of the Executive Vice President, and in close partnership with the Chief Science and Technology Officer, the Vice President of Research serves as an integral part of advancing the research agenda of the Knowledge Enterprise at ASU and is an essential member of the university leadership. Skills and Abilities
PhD or similar terminal degree, achievement in research and scholarship to meet the requirements for obtaining tenure and appointment as a full professor, and eight (8) years previous experience in a senior management role with responsibility for development and execution of strategic operational initiatives. Or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
