Comprehensive Ophthalmologist at Parkland

The Department of Ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an outstanding Comprehensive Ophthalmologist for positions as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. Subspecialty training is a plus, but not required. This position will serve to help supervise residents and fellows at Parkland Hospital, as well as develop a faculty clinical practice. Experience in resident teaching and current practice in medical and surgical ophthalmology, or a recent graduate of a residency or fellowship training program preferred. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
Experience and Education:
We seek an outstanding individual with an M.D. degree, who is board certified, or board eligible in ophthalmology, and eligible for a Texas medical license.
This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
