Job Description

 

The Department of Occupational Therapy at Boston University is seeking a dynamic clinical faculty member to teach and advise students in our entry-level Doctor of Occupational Therapy (EL-OTD) program. Primary responsibilities will include teaching theory and practice courses, assisting LIFW and LIIFW and Capstone Academic Coordinators with student placements, and student advising. Engagement in research and/or scholarship is required and supported.

Preferred and Required Qualifications

Candidates must have an earned doctoral degree, current certification as an occupational therapist, and eligibility for Massachusetts licensure. A minimum of four years of experience in any area of occupational therapy is required. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching either in an academic or practice setting and will have an established program of scholarship. The appointment begins in Fall 2022, for a term of 3 years, renewable. This is a 9-month appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, non-tenured. Salary is commensurate with experience.
