Position Title: Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach-Temporary Campus: Gorham City, State: Gorham, ME Department: Athletics - PATHL Bargaining Unit: Temp Salary Band/Wage Band: NA Work Schedule: Varies based on practice & game schedule Statement of Job:

The University of Southern Maine seeks applicants for the part time temporary position of Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach on the Gorham Campus.

Core Duties:

  • Assist the Head Coach in practice duties as assigned.
  • Assist the Head Coach in the identification and recruitment of potential USM Student
  • Athletes prior, during, and post season.
  • Travel with the team to away contests.
  • Assist with program fundraising initiatives.
  • Supervise student athletes as required.
  • Assist Head Coach with other lacrosse related duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to and support all rules, conditions, and regulations of USM and the NCAA.

Practices are primarily in the evenings (5p-7p when we're in the field house, 6p-8p when on the turf). There are several weekend practices as well and then travel to games.

Compensation: $2300.00/season

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • High school playing experience required.
  • Collegiate playing experience preferred.
  • Previous coaching experience at the high school and/or collegiate level preferred.
