The Coordinator, Workday Change Management position collaborates with other team members and functional leads and contributes to the management and execution of key project activities and deliverables. The responsibilities will be focused in one or more of the following areas: Change Management, Communication Development, Communication Strategies, Website Analysis, Training, and Workday Student Deployment. The coordinator will facilitate Change Management discovery workshops with Pensacola State College leadership and key stakeholders; attend all Workday development and deployment workstream meetings to identify key concepts for Change Management; identify changes being introduced at Pensacola State College (e.g., business process, technology, and organizational changes); collaborate with appropriate College staff members to develop Change Management strategies to drive adoption of these changes. Collaborate with other Change Management Coordinators through the Workday Community, Workday User Groups, and other academic institutions regarding best practices and frameworks for managing change for Workday Deployment. This position reports to the Associate Vice President, Institutional Research and Management Information Systems. Pending Board Approval.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Communications, or a related area OR a bachelor’s degree in another area with two years of work experience related to change management or business transformation. Relevant work experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year for year basis. Relevant education may be substituted for the experience requirement on a year for year basis. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.
Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Three years of relevant work experience related to change management or business transformation. Experience with change and communication strategy and planning, with a fluency in change management risk analysis, impact analysis, stakeholder analysis, readiness assessment, engagement, change measurement and strategic communications. Experience in training strategy, planning, design, creation, and delivery. Experience supporting deployments of cloud-based student management enterprises such as Workday, Banner, or People Soft.
SALARY RANGE: $33,730.00 - $37,000.00
