The Stites Laboratory applies quantitative and systems approaches (both experimental and computational) to the study of cancer. We primarily focus upon the RAS pathway due to its importance in cancer, the abundance of data on the pathway and its molecular components, and the ready availability of excellent reagents and methods. We repurpose these data and methods to study RAS and cancer from a systems perspective. The laboratory is comprised of both experimental biologists and computational biologists.
The postdoctoral fellow will be the primary lead for one or more experimental research projects that investigate the RAS pathway in cancer. Collaboration with other experimental scientists, as well as with computational scientists, is encouraged as part of this position.
Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or equivalent.
Experience with cancer cell signaling, functional genomics, cancer biology, and/or biochemistry.
