Assistant Professor in Graphic Design with an emphasis of UX UI, is a renewable non-tenure track, full-time, and benefits-eligible position. Candidates should possess a strong commitment to a teaching a broad range of courses at the undergraduate and graduate level with an emphasis on contemporary practices in the world of graphic design as it relates to UX-UI, technology, social media and/or advertising. Assistant Professor is responsible for and contributes to teaching and curriculum development of undergraduate and graduate with an emphasis on the MFA in Graphic Design curriculum. In addition to teaching, student advising, departmental and college service and committee involvement, and creative/professional practice will be required. Areas of knowledge and expertise may include but are not limited to current practices in: contemporary design theory, alternative media and technologies, UX/UI and typographic experience in 2d,3d, and 4d. This position is Full-time Exempt position and reports to the Chair of Communication Arts, BFA and Graphic Design, MFA.
