One-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish. The Department of World Languages and Cultures invites applicants for a one-year sabbatical replacement beginning August 2021. Ideal candidates will demonstrate innovative teaching of language and literature/culture at the intermediate level. Area of specialization in Peninsular, Latin American culture(s), or Latinx Studies, contemporary focus preferred. A Ph.D is strongly preferred by time of appointment, but ABD will be considered. Teaching load is six courses per year (3-3). All faculty are expected to participate in delivering college-wide first-year/sophomore seminars. Opportunities and support for research and scholarly activity are available. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
