Assistant/Associate Professor in Economics
Business and Economics Program
St. Andrews University (a branch of Webber International University) in Laurinburg, NC invites applications for a full-time faculty position. A doctorate in Economics or a closely related field is preferred, but applicants with a masters, appropriate course work, and work experience will be considered. St. Andrews is unable to accept applications from international candidates who require sponsorship.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to teach a wide variety of economics and related courses in-person and on-line. Applicants with a demonstrated ability and a passion for teaching undergraduates in a small liberal arts and sciences environment will be given preference. Additional responsibilities will include advising undergraduates, committee service, and contributions to the university's interdisciplinary general education program. There is the possibility of also assuming some administrative responsibilities and teaching in the university's MBA Program.
