Job Description

Lewis University invites applications for an Associate Professor, Doctoral of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program Director. This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to design, develop, and implement this program that will be housed on the Romeoville campus. The Program Director (PD) will report to the Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Chair and will work with the Dean of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences to achieve these goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • An earned academic doctoral degree (DPT or equivalent in a closely related biomedical science field to physical therapy) and/or M.D.
  • A minimum of five years of full-time higher education experience, with a minimum of three years of full-time experience in a physical therapist education program.
  • Holds or is eligible to hold the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
  • A strong record of peer-reviewed publications/scholarship
