Job Description

Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President for Facilities, the employee will provide direct supervision for Central Shipping and Receiving, Central Storeroom, Asset Inventory and Property Control, and coordination of the College Mail. The Employee will follow procedures to facilitate effective operations and service to the College Community.

Preferred and Required Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Must be willing to take classes to stay abreast of changes in the industry
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree


  • Three years of experience required in asset inventory, database management, shipping and receiving, mail coordination and related duties.
  • Three years of supervisory experience required
  • Preferred: 3 years of experience working in higher education or for a Maryland state agency


  • Valid driver's license required


  • Must be able to exchange everyday information using insight and opinion as appropriate, requiring proper grammar, good oral and written communication skills.
