Job Summary: The Director, Learning & Development/Employee Relations is responsible for a variety of operations, employee relations and employee engagement activities. Specifically, duties include: providing support with employer compliance matters such as coordinating/conducting mandatory sexual harassment learning modules and investigating employee-on-employee discrimination, harassment and retaliation complaints, overseeing the College’s staff policy manual and business practices, identify possible risks and associated remediation relative to strategic, operational and regulatory compliance; performing conflict resolution and training on workplace standard of conduct matters; administering all levels of annual staff performance evaluations; developing, coordinating and/or facilitating learning and development opportunities for staff related to enhancing personal and professional skills; and assist in leading employee engagement activities and programs that enhance and improve the employee experience, employee morale and motivation. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Human Resources and Development.
