Job Description

 

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Medicine, Department of Surgery, is accepting applications for an Acute Care/General Surgeon. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position and faculty rank is commensurate with experience and credentials. Primary duties for this position include clinical care as an Acute Care Surgeon, as well as student/resident teaching and research.

Qualifications

Candidate must have completed an accredited general residency program, be Board Eligible/Board Certified and committed to providing quality clinical care, student/resident teaching and research. Additional Board eligibility and/or certification in Surgical Critical Care is desirable. Expertise in Endocrine Surgery is a plus.
