Communication Disorders - Tenure
Minot State University is seeking applicants for a full time tenure track faculty member in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders beginning August 2021. The position is a nine-month appointment with extended contract/summer employment available if desired. Academic rank, salary, and tenure track eligibility will be commensurate with education and experience.
The Department of Communication Disorders contains a flagship graduate program with national recognition that serves students from across the United States and Canada. It has an accredited graduate program in Speech/Language Pathology and an undergraduate program in Communication Disorders. The Department currently employs eight full-time and two part-time or adjunct faculty members who teach and provide clinical supervision.
Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Communication Disorders and clinical teaching/supervision. Participation in student research and other scholarly activity, assisting with ASHA accreditation compliance, and participation in departmental, college, university, and community service activities is also required.
CCC/SLP from ASHA, Master's Degree in Communication Disorders, at least 2 years of SLP practice experience, eligibility for ND licensure as an SLP.
Earned Doctorate in Speech Language Pathology or a related field, CCC/SLP from ASHA, and eligibility for ND licensure as an SLP
