The University of Louisville Department of Pediatrics - Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics - is seeking a Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrician to fill an exciting full-time faculty position.
We provide interdisciplinary developmental/behavioral and clinical genetics services, with in house cytogenetic and chromosomal microarray laboratory services. Prospective candidates should be board certified or board eligible in pediatrics and have fellowship training with the potential for board eligibility in developmental/behavioral pediatrics. The physician will join a dynamic interdisciplinary team of professionals (i.e. developmental pediatrics, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, and social work) to provide integrated evaluations of children with developmental, behavioral and learning differences. Clinical activities will also facilitate ongoing follow-up care for medication management, developmental surveillance, care coordination and/or laboratory management.
Services are provided in the new, state-of-the-art Novak Center for Children's Health, in outreach clinics in Western Kentucky or via telehealth. There are opportunities for mentoring developmental/behavioral pediatric fellows and teaching of pediatric residents and medical students, as well as participation in scholarly activity.Equal Employment Opportunity
