Visiting Assistant Professor of English: Poetry. The Allegheny College Department of English invites applicants for a visiting 1-year sabbatical replacement position beginning August 2021. The ideal candidate will have experience and success teaching poetry workshops at both the introductory and advanced undergraduate level, as well as experience mentoring undergraduate theses in poetry. M.F.A. in poetry required; an active publication record in poetry preferred. Teaching load is six courses per year (3-3), with some mentorship of senior poetry projects. Opportunities and support for research and scholarly activity are available.
