Position Summary

Including but are not limited to:
· Provide assistance on zoom by directly working with students and helping instructors with all classroom needs
· Teaching assistant for academic and enrichment classes
· Provide a safe and positive environment for the participants of the program
· Be a positive role model and mentor for all children
· Work in cooperative manner with your colleagues
· Greet participants and parents
· Always be cordial and professional
· Notify instructors and management staff of any problems that may arise
· Be familiar with and follow the guidelines set forth in the counselor manual/training, and parent paperwork
· Perform other related duties as assigned
· Mediate any conflicts that may arise between members of your group
· Help create take home "kits" prior to class start

Reports to Culinary Management and Kids and College Coordinator
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

· Provide assistance on zoom by directly working with students and helping
· Analyze student needs
· Answer student questions and clarify areas of concern

Required Education High School Graduate or equivalent plus specialized training
Other Required Qualifications

High School Graduate or equivalent plus specialized training.
· Experience and expertise in subject area assisting in (ex.: Digital Media classes- background in technology/computer science)
· Commitment to the mission of the community college, and to teaching and motivating community college students in ways appropriate to their diverse backgrounds and learning styles
· Ability to lift up to 10 pounds unassisted and work safely following safety guidelines/

Desired Qualifications

· High School graduate/ currently studying specialized subject area in college
