The Department of Psychology at Bridgewater State University is accepting applications for a full time, temporary, one year Instructor/Assistant Professor position in Psychology to start Fall 2021. Duties include teaching undergraduate courses in Introductory Psychology, Statistics, and Research Methods to a diverse student population, utilizing an equity- minded framework to prepare lesson plans which incorporate varied instructional techniques, multi-media, integration strategies designed to meet the educational, culturally relevant, and emotional needs of our students. Duties also include advising undergraduate students on academic curricula; serving on faculty committees; participating in faculty meetings; participating in the development of departmental curricula; and adhering to all institutional policies.Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Psychology.
Experience as the primary instructor for at least one psychology course.
Commitment to excellence in teaching and advising that enhances an environment of equity, diversity, and inclusion.Preferred Qualifications
