JOB DETAILS:

POSITION: A full-time, instructional academic staff position is available in the Department of Languages with an emphasis in German for the 2021-2022 academic year beginning August 23, 2021.   The position is for a two-year appointment, the second year contingent on departmental need and satisfactory performance review.

QUALIFICATIONS: A master's degree in German is required from a regionally accredited institution, preference for a PhD with ABDs considered.  Native or near native competency in German and English are required. The following will be considered assets:  evidence of successful teaching at the collegiate level; demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness.

DUTIES: Teach the equivalent of 15 credits each semester of lower- and upper-division courses, as assigned.

THE UNIT: The department of Languages consists of 18 faculty and 12 academic staff members.
