 Visiting Assistant Professor of Race, Ethnicity, and Migration Studies

Department: Race, Ethnicity, and Migration Studies

Position Status: Full-time 1 year

Position Summary:
The Program in Race, Ethnicity, and Migration Studies at Colorado College seeks a one-year visiting assistant professor in the field of Asian-American and Pacific Islander Studies. The successful applicant will teach six courses in the 2021-22 academic year, including some core courses within the Program's major and minor curriculum (such as Introduction to the Comparative Study of Race and Ethnicity, Theories of Race and Ethnicity) and introductory and advanced courses in the candidate's area of specialization within the context of a broad liberal arts curriculum (such as the Introduction to Asian American and Pacific Islander Studies).

Applicants should hold a terminal degree in AAPI studies or related fields in race and ethnic studies, and demonstrate experience and excellence in teaching and mentoring students.
