IUPUI Dentistry-Comprehensive CarePosition Summary
Indiana University School of Dentistry invites applications to a full-time clinical assistant/associate professor position in the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Comprehensive Care. This will be a 0.80 to 1.0 FTE, 12-month appointment with administrative responsibilities as a clinical director. Biomedical Sciences and Comprehensive Care's vision includes strengthening the transition of students as they progress from pre-clinical learning through clinical training in preparation for clinical oral health care careers.
Expectations of this position include oversight of student clinical progression, didactic and clinical instruction in Comprehensive Care at the pre-doctoral and graduate level; potential lecturing in the pre-doctoral Comprehensive Care courses and modules; and, performing services necessary to implement the educational programs and academic objectives of the department.
Additional responsibilities consist of scholarly activity as well as engagement in service at the department, school and university levels.
