The Social Work Department at Misericordia University, located in Dallas, Pennsylvania, invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track,10- month faculty and chair position, beginning August 2021. Rank and salary are negotiable and dependent upon applicant's experience and qualifications.
Faculty members are expected to teach both social work courses (introductory and in their area of expertise) and sociology courses and actively participate in scholarly activities, student advisement, and service to the University and profession. The faculty member will assist with fieldwork preparation, student advising, and student clinical mentorship. Chair responsibilities will be identified.
