Physician Assistant Program Northern Kentucky Campus, Florence, KY seeks faculty members who are able to provide practical instruction in an engaging learning environment and enhance the learning experience of students to join our faculty as an assistant or associate professor.

Faculty members are also expected to participate in shared faculty governance, curriculum development, recruitment, student advisement, and professional service activities.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

Job Requirements:

  • NCCPA Certified Physician Assistant
  •  Eligible for or active unencumbered KY PA Licensure through KBML
  • PA Education Experience
  • Experience with assessment process
  • Clinical Experience
  • Management Experience
  • Ability and Willingness to travel for Program Information Sessions and Clinical Site Visits
  • Values consistent with mission of PA Program and University

Faculty Responsibilities:

  • Teaching in both didactic and clinical phases of the Program as determined by Program Administration
  • Manage and evaluate own course assessment
  • Recruiting, advising and retaining students
  • Evaluate and supervise students
  • Participate in Professional Development activities as assigned by the Program Director and/or for NCCPA certification maintenance
  • Participate in state and national PA organizations
  • Participate and support the accreditation process as assigned by the Program Director
  • Development of and adherence to University and PA Program policy and procedures
  • Promoting the Program in the community, stakeholders and program partners
  • Support clinical education and the recruitment of clinical training sites
  • Participate in University Faculty and Program Department committees as deemed necessary by administration
  • Assist in the coordination and management of Program assessment process
  • Other duties as assigned by PA Program Director and Vice President for Academic Affairs
