The Warrior Community seeks a full time faculty member for the College of Arts and Sciences. This is a tenure track 9-month position and will be responsible for teaching exercise science courses which support the exercise science degree program and includes developing and teaching courses in the field. The position includes teaching four courses per semester, advising students, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve the Institution's Strategic Plan. Additional duties and responsibilities include being familiar with the accreditation standards and guidelines from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and the Council on Accreditation of Strength and Conditioning Education (CASCE), developing and maintaining the exercise science lab space and equipment, designing and revising program curricula, delivering effective courses to meet learning outcomes, holding office hours, fulfilling service and professional development requirements, advising and fostering relationships with students, and actively participating in student recruitment and retention.

The successful candidate will also work closely with other programs in related areas. This is a tenure-track, 9-month position teaching in face-to-face and online course delivery. This faculty position reports to the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.

The preferred faculty member will hold an earned doctorate in Exercise Science or a closely related field with research experience in exercise science or a closely related field. College-level teaching experience is required. Candidates with a master's degree in Exercise Science and with College-level teaching experience will be considered. Faculty rank will be commensurate with academic credentials and experience.
