Job Description

 

Position Opening: Visiting Professor or Instructor of Ocean Engineering, with emphasis on Naval Architecture 

The Department of Ocean Engineering and Marine Sciences at Florida Tech seeks to hire a full-time or part-time Visiting Professor or Instructor with expertise in Naval Architecture for a one-year appointment in the 2021–2022 academic year.  The successful candidate will teach formal courses and supervise junior and senior capstone-design student-project teams in the area of naval architecture.  The appointment may be renewed for a second year

Preferred and Required Qualifications

Expected qualifications are a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Ocean Engineering or Naval Architecture and an interest in pedagogy.
