Immaculata University, founded in 1920 by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, is a Catholic, coeducational institution of higher learning, located on the Main Line between Malvern and Exton, 20 miles west of Philadelphia. The University offers fifty-three undergraduate majors, seven master degree programs, three doctoral degree programs, and over forty additional certification programs, including a selection of accelerated and online programs. Immaculata employs over 330 faculty and staff, who together with the Sisters serve approximately 2,500 students.
Immaculata University invites applications for one full-time tenure track position in the Division of Nursing with a pre-licensure BSN, accelerated and online RN to BSN and MSN programs. MSN and earned doctorate in nursing or related field required (ABD considered) with teaching experience in undergraduate and graduate programs highly desirable. Candidates, interested in working with a team to implement innovative educational strategies to a diverse student population, are encouraged to apply. Nursing education expertise particularly in the areas of psychiatric mental health and or medical-surgical, is sought. Responsibilities include didactic and clinical teaching, student advisement, curriculum development, support of the university's mission and vision, scholarship and service through participation in division, university and professional activities.
