The Nursing faculty member is responsible for teaching Pediatric Nursing and may be required to teach one of the following based on expertise: Foundations of Nursing, Medical/Surgical Nursing, Contemporary Issues in Nursing, Leadership in Nursing, and/or Maternal/Infant Nursing. In addition, faculty members are expected to stay current in their disciplines and in teaching methodologies; and implement changes in instruction based on assessment results; maintain reasonable, distributed office hours; develop and revise curriculum; mentor adjunct faculty; and advise students as appropriate. Faculty members provide leadership for the development, growth, and support of the College and the assigned area; and undertake professional community service. Other duties include supporting the mission, vision and values of the College and policies of the Board of Trustees; serving on various College committees, task forces and other groups; and participating in various official College ceremonies and meetings. This is a full-time, 10-month position, which begins August 2021.
