The Undergraduate Baccalaureate Nursing Program within the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Westminster College in Salt Lake City invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the assistant professor rank to begin August 1, 2021. We seek innovative and diverse candidates with expertise in a variety of nursing curricula such as, but not limited to, medical/surgical nursing, psychiatric/mental health nursing, nursing research, and pharmacology. The teaching load for this position is 24 semester hours that includes fall and spring semesters. Teaching responsibilities include working with students in the clinical lab and simulation area, nursing courses in the didactic setting and clinical student teaching and supervision in healthcare and community settings. A PhD in nursing from a regionally accredited institution is preferred. A Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP), MSN, or MSNEd may be considered. In addition, the nursing school where the nursing degree was obtained must be accredited through CCNE or ACEN. We seek candidates with an excellent teaching record and ability to engage with students to enhance learning.
