The Graduate Nursing Program in the Frances M. Maguire School of Nursing and Health Professions at Gwynedd Mercy University invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor, tenure or non-tenure track, Nurse Practitioner position. The NP position is a 11-month appointment. Rank and salary will be commensurate with education and teaching experience.

Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities are developing and teaching in online graduate nurse practitioner courses; advising students; engaging in scholarship; participation in Program, School, University, and community service; and contributing to the development of our NP Program.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications: The preferred candidate will hold a minimum of an MSN as a Nurse Practitioner with a post-professional doctoral degree preferred. Candidates must hold an RN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and current Pennsylvania State Certificate as an Adult Health Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care), or Family Nurse Practitioner and hold ANCC national certification as an Adult Health Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care) or Family Nurse Practitioner. Applicants should have 5 or more years of NP clinical experience and demonstrated experience in teaching in their area of expertise.
