Lesley seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor and Coordinator of School Counseling Programs, who will serve to teach courses in
the master's degree program in Counseling and Psychology and oversee the School Counseling and School and Community Programs.
The selected individual, reporting to the Division Director, will coordinate our thriving school counseling programs, which
prepare School Counselors and School Adjustment Counselors for K-12 licensure through the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and
Secondary Education and contribute to the preparation of school counseling practitioners, some of whom also pursue a license in Clinical
Mental Health Counseling. We are seeking a colleague who is committed to teaching, reflective practice, scholarship, and being part of a
team effort to develop wellness-oriented practitioners and leaders in schools and communities. The candidate will demonstrate a commitment
to a counseling practice that emphasizes social justice, partnerships between school and community, youth empowerment, and socio-emotional
wellness including knowledge of trauma-informed interventions, restorative justice, and evidence-based practices in schools.
