Job Summary

Radford University is inviting applications for a 12 month Full Time Special Purpose position in the School of Nursing at the Radford University Carilion Campus in Roanoke, VA. Responsibilities include classroom and clinical teaching, scholarship, and service with expectations of recent clinical practice.

Required Qualifications

Required qualifications include a Master of Science in Nursing. Applicants must hold or be eligible for unencumbered Virginia licensure in Virginia. Responsibilities include classroom teaching and online lectures, skill laboratory, clinical teaching in acute care settings, scholarship and service with expectations of recent clinical practice.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to those applicants with the education, experience, certification, and ability to teach Psychiatric Mental Health, Pediatrics, or Adult Health Nursing in the undergraduate programs. Prior teaching experience in the classroom and clinical practice setting is preferred. Current clinical practice is preferred. A Doctorate in Nursing or related discipline is preferred.

Education

Applicants with the education, experience, certification, and ability to teach Psychiatric Mental Health, Pediatrics, or Adult Health Nursing in the undergraduate programs are desired. Current clinical practice is preferred.
