Job Description Summary
The Department of Pharmacy Practice of the Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy, Mobile campus, is seeking one (1) full time faculty member at the Assistant/Associate/Full clinical or tenure track level, with the decision for clinical vs. tenure track depending on the candidate's interests and qualifications. The Harrison School of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacy Practice provides a premier practice, education and research program. The innovative professional practice and teaching programs of the Harrison School of Pharmacy provide opportunities for faculty to teach in a student-centered learning environment, including unique and innovative early and advanced experiential programs. Faculty members at the Harrison School of Pharmacy are leaders among pharmacy educators in the assessment of learning.
Pertinent Facts about the Position:
Applicants must have a PharmD at the time employment begins and completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 residency program, with a specialty residency in internal medicine or critical care, desired. Candidates must be a licensed pharmacist in the State of Alabama or reciprocate their license from another state within the first 180 days of employment. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are required.
