The Department of Economics and Business Administration at McDaniel College invites applications for a Visiting Professor of Business Administration at the Assistant Professor rank, beginning fall semester 2021. This position is a nine-month, full-time, benefit eligible, non-tenure eligible position. Should the position become tenure-track in the future, the incumbent will be eligible to apply.
Duties: Teach a 3-3 load consisting of entry level and upper-level courses. Preference given to candidates able to teach Business Strategy and Policy (senior capstone course) and Principles of Management. Additional courses from among Entrepreneurship, Small Business Management, Business Ethics, Sports Management or Sports Marketing, Marketing electives, International Business, or other suitable business electives. Ability to teach Introductory Statistics is a plus.
Doctorate in a business-related field preferred, ABD required. The successful candidate for this position will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching grounded in inclusive pedagogy, a record of classroom success, and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
