Job SummaryThe Computer Science Program in the Department of Mathematics, Sciences, and Technology at the University of West Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Computer Science position. The position is located on UWG's main campus in Carrollton, GA. The selected candidate will be expected to teach a wide variety of computer science courses and share the program's dedication to teaching excellence and service.
Required QualificationsA Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related field is required at the time of appointment, as well as an authentic commitment to student-centric excellence in teaching and a desire to embrace innovative methods in teaching and learning, including online program delivery and development. We seek candidates who are committed to an objects-first approach and the proliferation of current software development industry practices in the curriculum.
