Spring Arbor University is seeking an individual with experience in teaching online and/or via Zoom for our Masters in Social Work
(MSW) program to support the expansion and growth of our successful evening program into the online and Zoom formats. Applicants with
expertise/experience in administration, curriculum development, and/or CSWE Accreditation are especially desirable. We are seeking an
individual who is passionate about preparing students to impact the world for Jesus Christ through the vocation of Social Work. Residence in
southern Michigan is preferred, since that would allow them to teach traditional students on campus and evening classes at our sites as
well; however, it is not essential. The review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Teach undergraduate and graduate social work courses,
as well as assist with administration, curriculum development, and/or CSWE accreditation reports; specific assignments will be based on the
education and experience of the successful candidate. Faculty members are expected to work with the department chair to support and
strengthen the social work programs, supervise internships, participate in active professional development through research/scholarly
activity, be active in the social work profession through sustained membership in social work organizations, mentor graduate students, and
engage in institutional service.

Education and Experience
DSW or Ph.D. in a closely related area is preferred;
applicants must hold the MSW degree from a CSWE-accredited program and hold a current MSW license or be able to be licensed within one year
of hire. The selected applicant will have a proven record of successful teaching with experience in graduate and/or online education.
Faculty rank with be determined by degree, professional experience, and research record.
Experience working in
multicultural academic environments preferred and individuals from diverse populations are encouraged to apply.
