The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering seeks applications from outstanding candidates to teach ELE462/562, Design of Very Large-Scale Integrated (VLSI) Systems, in fall 2021. The appointment is anticipated to start on September 2021, and will span the fall 2021 semester. Position duty time will be based on student enrollments and departmental need.
Course description: The implementation of digital systems using integrated circuit technology. Emphasis on structured design methodologies for VLSI systems. Topics include: design rules for metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) integrated circuits, implementation of common digital components, tools for computer-aided design, novel architectures for VLSI systems.
An advanced degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field, is required (PhD preferred).
