Adjunct Faculty, Infant & Early Childhood Development (IECD)

 

Location: Virtual 

Reports to: IECD Program Director 

Position: Adjunct Faculty

Preferred and Required Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

We seek scholar-practitioners who have:

  • A record of research/scholarly publications and/or practitioner experience in Infant Mental Health (IMH), and Development, Individual Differences, and Relationships (DIR®);  
  • A PhD in a related field;
  • Experience teaching online, ideally at the graduate level

We are particularly interested in applicants with successful experience in teaching, research or scholarship, and applied work in areas related to infant and early childhood development, IMH, reflective practice/supervision, social-emotional development, culture, policy & advocacy.

Courses are 15 weeks in length.  Faculty are required to provide 2 hours of live lecture (via video conference) per week although there is flexibility on day(s) and specific time.  Fielding operates on a three-term year (January, May, September).  Adjunct faculty would teach 1-3 classes per year total.

Positions will start to be filled for the Summer term.
